Adventure FAQs

How big is the bed?

It is a Queen size bed. It's slightly wider and longer - enough for two adults to stretch out comfortably. You sleep north-south, not sideways.

How comfortable is the overlander?

The van is designed for comfort during your adventures, equipped with everything you need. A comfortable bed, indoor/outdoor shower, dry-flush toilet, kitchen sink, stove top, microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of storage room.

Can I take it to mountains and the beach?

Yes, it's perfect for mountain switchbacks and unpaved road terrains while providing safety and comfort. At the coast, the weight of the vehicle makes it difficult to drive on the beach. We recommend staying off beaches to avoid getting stuck in the sand.

How long do the batteries last?

You have 600Ah of power in the batteries. In a conservative mode, these can last 2-3 days. More assertive usage, like A/C, microwave, and cooktop can reduce that down to 1 day.

Is it easy to drive?

The overlander is designed for ease of driving. It is equipped with backup cameras and driving assistance sensors. The Falcon suspension system makes it feel like an SUV. Exercise caution around sharp corners and braking distances.

What should I bring along?

Bring your sense of wonder; the overlander is well-equipped for your comfort and adventure needs (comestibles not included).

What kind of gas mileage can I expect?

The V6 Diesel engine has good power. Driving conservatively on flatter terrain can yield as high as 16 mpg. Mountainous terrain and aggressive driving can reduce that down to 13, or 12 mpg.

How many people can it sleep?

The van has a queen size bed which can comfortably sleep 2 adults. The fridge seat with the driver's captain chair could accommodate a child - but note there is not a seat belt for a third person.

Is bedding included?

Yes - fresh linens, pillows, and blankets are provided (or bring your own if you prefer).

Does the van have a bathroom?

Yes, the van is equipped with a Modiwell Smart Dry Flush self-contained toilet, a generously sized indoor shower, and a rear outdoor shower setup with hot water.

How much water does the van hold?

The van is equipped with a generous 42 gallon fresh water tank - enough for a few days depending on usage. There are two grey water tanks, one for the shower and one for the kitchen sink. These must be drained manually underneath the van.

Can I bring pets?

For the well-being of all our guests, pets are not permitted in the van.

Does the van have heating or A/C?

Yes, there is an onboard diesel heater for cold nights, and an A/C system which runs on the batteries, or shore power for extended periods.

The Overlandis van made our adventure unforgettable—comfort and exploration combined perfectly!
